Currently, my whole life is in a bit of disarray. The plumbers are gone, but they are coming back SOON, as I have all but completed the new bathroom in the basement, minus their final part. But my basement is a mess still, my garage is full of stuff I have been using to complete all this, my knee is close to qualifying me for handicap parking, and this morning as I was in the process of FILING my taxes, the Turbo Tax site went to some sort of “maintenance” mode, and by the time it was done, my taxes (OUR TAXES) disappeared. Needless to say, today has not been stressful at all!!!
The good news is that after an hour or so, I found a copy of our taxes that is missing only about an hour’s more work……far better than what I thought. AND, Ben has to stay home with ME tomorrow, so I am taking the whole day off and he is hoping that we PAINT somethings, which I told him we could. Our problem is that he wants to paint whatever we paint RED, so I am sure at least one of us will be disappointed. My big point however is that tomorrow should be the best day of the week for me! We will start by SLEEPING IN!
So the white flag is up and I am surrendering to the day. We will regroup and move ahead tomorrow. A lot like France, except without the whole moving ahead thing.
