Yep, all the grandparents have been notified. Stephanie is officially a Lindenwood Lion! Lindenwood University is in St. Charles, Missouri and Stephanie is very excited about the opportunity to go there.

Of course, in addition to being able to get that great education, Stephanie is also able to continue to play the game that she loves! And Lindenwood is a great place to play too. Their pre-season rank was number 9 nationally and in two short weeks they are now ranked number 3! At her visit she was able to spend time with the team on the field and on the sideline of their game against Wisconsin. Lindenwood won 21-7 and it was just an all-around wonderful experience.

At practice today as we are gearing for a run at a title ourselves, it was hard to not get sentimental. Only a few short years ago Steph couldn’t even hold the ball in her stick. She is now one of four team captains, the winner of the 2008 season and 2009 season MVP awards, an All-State award winner and an Academic All American. I am proud of her, and am looking forward to seeing her take the field not just this year, but for many more years to come!
